Generations The Legacy, is about stimulating a conversation on the transfer of wealth, knowledge and culture. Successive generations in African society have produced men and women of great intelligence, vision, and the drive for excellence.
Duma Collective was brought in to provide Social Media & Influencers services. The overall objective of the campaign was to drive engagement and getting audiences to tune into the show.
#GenerationTheLegacy was a two-week social media campaign. An Influencer Army of twenty-five Influencers were selected to engage with the show’s social media pages as well as live tweet about the show. The campaign gained positive sentiments across Twitter with over 11 000 people socially interacting with the show’s hashtag and 5 175 700 people engaging with the influencers’ content.
The highlight of our work on the campaign was how effective people engaged with the content and how we reached a variety of audiences who began to interact with the conversation whilst tuning in to watch the show.
