The 2nd of December has officially gone down in the record books as multi-award winning Cassper Nyovest hosted his third annual #FILLUP concert at FNB Stadium in Soweto in front of a record breaking 68 000 crowd.
The 28 years old artist has officially become the first South African Hip-Hop artist to ever hold a concert at the FNB Stadium. From selling out all the golden circle tickets to bringing in a crowd large enough to literally fill up the stadium – which has a capacity of 75 000 – Cassper Nyovest did indeed make history.
When we #FilledUpTheDome, we were dressing Cassper. When we #FilledUpOrlandoStadium we were stage managers and had a team of 3. When we #FilledUpFnbStadium we headed up Talent Operations and Stage with a team of 29! When you grow, take others with you!
The concert featured some of South Africa’s well know musicians and artists such as, HHP, Ricky Rick, DJ Tira, Youngsta CPT and many more. Cassper Nyovest had the audience captivated and dazzled with the amazing stage designs & visuals, his elaborate dance choreography and fashionable wardrobe changes.
Duma Collective, which has worked alongside Cassper Nyovest on the previous #FillUp concerts, was present as the Talent Operations and Stage management department for the event. With a team of 29 individuals as well as 11 interns selected from the #FillUpFNBInternSearch. Once booked, we contacted, briefed and ensured performing talent was on boarded onto the show.
